After doing the last few bits of recordings in Ghana in April, the last stages of editing and mixing the music are now complete. Over the last few weeks Sonny has been working with friend and colleague Tom Leader to master the album, ready for duplication and release! We are happy, excited (and also quite proud) about this fantastic record, which, based on Isaac’s and Sonny’s songwriting, has been recorded with 28 musicians from Ghana and the UK, including the Birifor Choir of the partnership community in Kalba.
Next, we are in the process of creating the album artwork, striving to make it as individual and special as we think the music is. Over the next few weeks we will keep you in the loop about our progress – so stay tuned!
